In the last post I wrote a few indicators to help you know what to look for when shopping for a tie. The best thing you can do is think in advance. Search the web or a fashion magazine and seek out an entire suit that you like. Only after this go out and shop for what you need. And it's better to buy the entire suit in one shopping spree because this way it will be easier to match all that you buy. If you buy a suit today, a shirt tomorrow and so on, there is a higher chance to buy something that you really like but don't have what to match it with.
Like I said in my first post, I shall post some pics of what I consider to be good looking ties in combination with the suits they match to. These are net pics, however not everything you find online is ok, so here we go:

Now look at this two suits, both look pretty much the same and despite this they both went for some different approach in the tie category. Why is this so? Because of the neural colours chosen for the suit and the shirt. If you choose a dark suit with a white shirt than you can have a spot of colour, and which is the best way to do this? Yes, a woven silk tie:

Both ties have a different approach but as you can see both go well if you have a neutral suit and shirt. Of course if you are looking for a conservative look, or that's just the way you dress, go for a simple black tie and then nobody will have anything bad to say about you, however I think that would make a way to neutral suit. So remember a bit of colour can help.
